The Sexual Assault Prevention Action Team of Kent County

The Sexual Assault Prevention Action Team (SAPAT) of Kent County is a coalition formed by local organizations whose ultimate goal is the elimination of sexual violence in Kent County, Michigan.

The coalition is comprised of an interdisciplinary team of local professionals and community members passionate about the primary prevention of sexual violence.

Through organizational collaboration, community education, and various other prevention efforts, SAPAT seeks to create holistic and lasting change for community members and the systems they interact with on a daily basis.

Serving Kent County since 1998

SAPAT has been leading prevention initiatives in the Kent County community since 1998. The coalition’s cumulative experience in fields such as sexual assault victim services, prevention education, community health, law enforcement, and professional development places SAPAT in the unique position to lead the Kent County community toward the elimination of sexual violence.
